Bengaluru-based HR tech startup InCruiter recorded a revenue of Rs 1.7 crore in the fiscal year ending March 2023 with operations contributing the entirety of the amount.
Founded by Anil Agarwal, InCruiter is an AI-powered interview as a service brand that provides remote interview solutions for businesses to identify the perfect fit for their company through evaluation.
It provides a dedicated platform of freelance expert interviewers to scrutinize hiring needs and ensure that the candidate is being judged correctly by the best industry experts to meet job requisites. It claims to have conducted about 50,000 interviews and has more than 2,000 expert interviewers registered on the platform. With a client based of domestic and international companies, it has worked with the likes of Practo, Mahindra, Adecco, and Spinny, among others.
The 2018 established company has raised over Rs 2 crore over 3 funding rounds. Last month the company scooped up over Rs 1 crore from revenue-based financing platform GetVantage in its extended Seed round.
In FY23, the company’s expenditure amounted to Rs 1.98 crore. While employee benefits cost Rs 1 crore, the advertisement and promotional costs and legal charges cost over Rs 18 lakhs and more than Rs 4 lakhs respectively.
The same year, the company’s losses amounted to Rs 27.2 lakhs. While its EBITDA margin stood at -16.04%, the ROCE stood at -545.22%.
