Founded in 2021, Noida-based InstaAstro is a holistic wellness platform that integrates Indian practices such as astrology, yoga, meditation, and chanting to address real-life challenges. The platform offers one-on-one astrology consultations, daily activity tracking, and content-driven solutions focused on relationships, career, health, and personal growth.
Founded by Nitin Verma, InstaAstro has raised a total of Rs 34.11 crore over three funding rounds, with its latest Pre-Series A round closed in May 2024. The shareholding structure includes Nitin Kumar Verma (39.47%) and ESOPs (12.53%).
InstaAstro’s revenue surged to Rs 25.12 crore in FY24, up from Rs 13.03 crore in FY23, marking a 92.8% increase. However, expenses also grew to Rs 34.2 crore in FY24, compared to Rs 17.33 crore in FY23.
Employee benefit costs accounted for 24.79% of total expenses in FY24, up from 21.40% in FY23. Advertisement costs remained steady at 23.30% in FY24, compared to 23.36% in FY23. Depreciation expenses increased slightly to 0.58% in FY24 from 0.17% in FY23.
Despite strong revenue growth, InstaAstro remained unprofitable, with net losses widening to Rs 8.12 crore in FY24 from Rs 4.27 crore in FY23. The EBITDA margin declined to -35.36% in FY24 from -32.68% in FY23, while ROCE improved slightly to -139.54% in FY24 from -195.02% in FY23.
