My Purna records 2X hike in the topline in FY23, profits surge

Dietary supplement brand My Purna posted a 2X increase in revenue for FY23, reaching Rs 19.08 crore, up from Rs 7.02 crore in FY22.

Founded in 2019, My Purna offers a variety of flavored multivitamin gummy bear products, including strawberry, lemon, orange, and blueberry gummies for women with specific products for kids.

Competing with Oziva and Plix, My Purna has raised a total of Rs 3.28 crore in funding across 3 rounds. Its latest funding came from an angel round in March 2022.

The Delhi-based company currently holds a valuation of over Rs 8 crore. The majority stake is held by founder Apoorv Aggarwal which is more than half of the company, followed by a significant percentage owned by Archana Gupta.

In parallel with its revenue growth, My Purna’s expenses also saw a 2X increase in FY23, with employee benefits being the major contributor towards this expense. Additionally, finance costs and advertising and promotional expenses also played a significant role in the company’s expenditure.

On the profit front, My Purna recorded an impressive rise, with profits reaching Rs 39.47 lakh in FY23,  from over Rs 15 lakh in FY22.

Alongside the financial improvements, My Purna’s current EBITDA margin and ROCE climbed to 7.45% and 16.61% respectively.
