Nutrition brand GetSupp generated Rs 34 lakhs in scale in FY23, losses cross Rs 1 Cr

Fitness and nutrition brand GetSupp recorded a revenue of Rs 33.65 lakhs in its first year of revenue generation in FY23. Of the total revenue generated in the last fiscal year, the company saw Rs 8 lakhs coming in from operations.

Founded by Arpit Gupta and Deven Vyas, GetSupp is an AI-driven nutrition and food supplements marketplace for users to learn and purchase supplements. Its additionally provides a personalized post purchase journey that helps users track the results.

Currently valued at Rs 34.14 crore, the two-year-old company raised over Rs 9 crore in its maiden round led by General Catalyst Partners and Better Capital in 2022. The round also saw participation form the likes of Saurabh Garg and Ankit Nagori among others.

With its total expenses for FY23 amounting to Rs 2.16 crore, GetSupp spent over Rs 1 crore on employee benefits, close to Rs 52 lakhs on advertisements and promotional costs, and a little over Rs 18 lakhs on legals costs.

The Bengaluru-based brand incurred losses amounting to Rs 1.83 crore in the fiscal year ending March 2023. Its EBITDA margin and ROCE stood at -536.32% and -24.22% respectively.
