Infertility treatment centre Oasis Fertility witnessed a considerable 41% hike in its FY23 revenue. The number which previously stood at Rs 117 crore in FY22 grew to Rs 165.6 crore with its revenue from operations contributing 99% to the overall revenue.
Based out of Hyderabad, healthcare startup Oasis Fertility is a chain of IVF centres offering treatments such as ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, minimally invasive surgery, fertility preservation, and genetic screening.
Aiming to be a comprehensive healthcare provider for infertility, it also operates an accredited training academy for medical professionals, OSHERM, and has launched AndroLife, a practice focusing on male infertility.
It currently has about 28 centres across Hyderabad, Chennai, Vadodara, Ranchi and Pune among other cities.
The 2009 incorporated firm’s expenses shot up over 53% to Rs 155.15 crore in the fiscal year ending March 2023 as compared to its preceding fiscal’s Rs 101 crore.
While the cost of procuring the materials took up over 23% of this, employee benefits and advertising costs took up over 18% and more than 9% respectively.
The Kiran Gadela-founded company last secured close to Rs 400 crore in its Series A round led by Kedaara Capital in 2022. Post the fundraise, while the lead investor held a majority of the company shares, the founder held over 25% while an ESOP pool of close to 1% was allotted.
Its profits dropped 37% to Rs 7.7 crore in FY23 as compared to FY22’s Rs 12 crore. Its current EBITDA margin and ROCE stand at 13.05% and 18.81% respectively.
