Sadhev: Revenue Jumps 33% to Rs 14 Cr in FY24

Sadhev recorded a 32.74% increase in revenue in FY24, reaching Rs 13.91 crore compared to Rs 10.48 crore in FY23. However, the company’s net loss widened to Rs 7.2 crore in FY24 from Rs 6.07 crore in FY23, marking a 18.62% increase.

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Chennai, Sadhev is a luxury Ayurveda brand offering handcrafted beauty products spanning body care, face care, hair care, and gifting sets. Operating as an internet-first platform, the brand sources ingredients from its organic farm, Sadhevana, and plants a tree with every purchase.

Expenses grew by 28.29% in FY24, rising to Rs 21.15 crore from Rs 16.49 crore in FY23. Employee benefit costs accounted for 8.74% of total expenses in FY24, down from 9.33% in FY23. Advertisement costs increased to 46.14% of expenses in FY24 from 44.63% in FY23, reflecting a stronger marketing push.

Sadhev’s EBITDA margin improved to -49.59% in FY24 from -55.26% in FY23. However, Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) declined to 51.17% in FY24 from 89.17% in FY23.

The company has raised Rs 2 crore in funding over one round, with the latest round completed in September 2022.
