Goa-based ScreenRoot saw its revenue grow significantly in FY24, reaching Rs 10.68 crore from Rs 8.31 crore in FY23.
ScreenRoot is a UI/UX design studio focused on creating digital user interfaces and customer experiences. It offers services such as UI/UX design for web, mobile, and new-age devices, UX research, product innovation through prototyping, and UI/UX design workshops. The company has designed for businesses across Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Real Estate, and IT including three of India’s top four banks.
Founded in 2008, ScreenRoot is co-founded by Tanmay Modi. Tanmay Modi holds a 2.86% stake, while Gulnaar Joshi owns 9.54% of the company.
Expenses rose to Rs 8.37 crore in FY24 from Rs 7.06 crore in FY23. Legal and professional fees accounted for the largest share, representing 73.23% of total expenses in FY24, up from 68.83% in FY23. Employee benefit costs stood at 4.65% of total expenses in FY24, compared to 5.80% in FY23. Advertisement costs increased to 8.6% of total expenses in FY24. Depreciation remained minimal at 0.47% of total expenses in FY24.
Profitability improved, with profits rising to Rs 1.74 crore in FY24 from Rs 94.43 lakh in FY23. The EBITDA margin increased to 22.15% in FY24 from 15.35% in FY23, reflecting strong operational efficiency. ROCE also improved to 19.89% in FY24 from 12.53% in FY23, showcasing better capital utilization and growth momentum.
