Edutainment OTT Platform Seekho reported a revenue of Rs 12.84 crore in FY24, a substantial increase from Rs 2.01 crore in FY23. The company’s net loss widened to Rs 4.68 crore in FY24, compared to Rs 2.44 crore in FY23, as expenses surged to Rs 19.36 crore in FY24 from Rs 5.77 crore in FY23.
Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Bengaluru, Seekho is an OTT platform offering short educational videos in Hindi and other regional languages. Its content spans business skills, technology, government exams, personal growth, and mobile app tutorials, catering to students, professionals, and general learners.
Employee benefit costs made up 24.48% of FY24 expenses, a sharp decline from 53.20% in FY23. Advertisement costs increased significantly to 59.9% of FY24 expenses, up from 37.78% in FY23.
It’s EBITDA margin improved to -50.67% in FY24 from -187.41% in FY23. However, the ROCE dipped to -26.73% in FY24 compared to -13.49% in FY23, indicating the ongoing challenge of achieving profitability.
The company has raised a total of Rs 97.1 crore in funding over four rounds, with the most recent being a Series A round in December 2024. Co-founders Rohit Choudhary (12.38%), Keertay Agarwal (12.38%), and Yash Banwani (12.38%) hold the largest share of the company, along with an ESOP pool accounting for 11.03%.
Seekho is carving its space in the OTT educational content market by offering regionally accessible and diverse learning materials. With its continued focus on growth and user acquisition, the company aims to balance expansion with improved financial efficiency in the coming years.
