Trezi’s Revenue Soars 62% in FY24, Losses Grow 3x

Trezi achieved a remarkable 62% growth in revenue, reaching Rs 14.14 crore in FY24, up from Rs 8.69 crore in FY23. Its operating revenue is primarily derived from the build platform (80%), TaaS (14%), and SaaS (5%).

Trezi transforms the building industry’s design experience by addressing inefficient collaboration among architects, designers, clients, and manufacturers. It provides immersive, interactive, and intuitive solutions to bridge gaps in understanding, streamline decision-making, and prevent delays, cost overruns, and mismatched expectations, ensuring seamless design collaboration and improved project outcomes.

The company has secured Rs 25.03 crore in funding across 4 rounds, with its most recent round concluded in May 2024. Co-founders Tithi Gautam Tiwari and Gautam Tiwari retain stakes of 22.89% and 20.25%, respectively. Indian Angel Network holds 13.89%, while She Capital owns 1.91%.

Trezi’s expenses escalated by over 89% in FY24, amounting to Rs 19.71 crore compared to Rs 10.38 crore in FY23. Major expense categories included employee benefits (26%), legal and professional fees (4.5%), depreciation (1.8%), and advertising costs (1.9%).

The company’s loss increased 3.2 times to Rs 5.37 crore in FY24, up from Rs 1.66 crore in FY23, impacting its profitability. EBITDA dropped to -36.76% in FY24 from -15.03% in FY23, and ROCE fell to -92.35% in FY24 from -35.57% in FY23.
