Aerostrovilos is an IIT Madras-based startup company that manufactures micro gas turbines which can electrify heavy-duty long haul trucks where the battery might not find a suitable solution for a long time to come.

The trucks form only 3-5% of road presence globally but contribute 40-50% of road transport pollution. Their mission is to electrify these trucks using the gas turbine generator technology and thereby reduce 40-50% of global road pollution levels.
