The team involves scientists and engineers from IIT Roorkee having years of experience in developing next generation battery technologies like Li-ion batteries, Sodium ion batteries, Solid state batteries, Super-capacitors, etc.

They are currently working on developing next generation Sodium-ion battery technologies. Through their technology, They want to replace poor performing commercialized lead acid batteries, currently dominating the Indian battery market. There vision is to provide high performance battery technology for applications like solar and wind grid storage, electric scooters/E-rickshaws, Car SLI batteries, batteries for solar street lights, etc.
